At Powerful Essence, we take great care in creating and preparing each of our handmade products. We hope you love everything you order, but if something is not quite right, please reach out and we will be happy to help.

Returns

Due to the handmade and personal nature of our soaps, bath products, body products, and other self care items, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on products that have been opened, used, or removed from their original packaging.

Unopened and unused products may be eligible for return within 14 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging.

Please contact Powerful Essence before returning any product. Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or an incorrect item was sent.

Original shipping charges are non refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law.

We recommend using a trackable shipping method when returning an approved item, as Powerful Essence cannot be responsible for return packages that are lost in transit.

Refunds

Once an approved return has been received and inspected, we will notify you regarding your refund.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund after it has been issued.

Shipping charges are generally not included in the refund unless the return is the result of an error on our part.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

We carefully inspect and package each Powerful Essence order before it leaves us, but we understand that occasionally an item may be damaged during shipping.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you receive an incorrect item, please contact us within 5 days of delivery.

Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the product and its packaging. Once reviewed, we will work with you to arrange an appropriate replacement, store credit, or refund.

Please do not dispose of a damaged product or its packaging until we have had an opportunity to review your request.

Handmade Products

Our products are created by hand in small batches. Natural variations in colour, scent, texture, shape, finish, and appearance may occur from one batch to another.

These small differences are part of the handmade nature of Powerful Essence products and are not generally considered defects.

Candles

Candles that have been burned or used cannot be returned.

If you experience an issue with the performance of your candle, please contact us with photos and details about the issue. We are happy to review concerns on an individual basis.

Please ensure all candle care instructions are followed, including proper wick trimming and safe burning practices.

Allergies and Sensitivities

Individual sensitivities and allergic reactions can vary from person to person. Unfortunately, we cannot generally offer returns or refunds for a product due to a personal allergy, sensitivity, scent preference, or skin reaction unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use of the product.

Scent Preferences

Scent is personal, and fragrances may be experienced differently from person to person. For this reason, we cannot accept returns of opened or used products based solely on fragrance preference.

Sale and Clearance Items

Final sale, clearance, discontinued, or specially marked products are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective or a return is otherwise required by applicable law.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel or make a change to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will do our best to accommodate your request if your order has not yet been processed or shipped. Once an order has been prepared for shipment or has left our care, we may no longer be able to cancel or modify it.
